September 7 is National Grandparents Day. While we should honor our grandparents every day, this celebration allows us take an extra moment to appreciate all the joy and wisdom that grandparents bring to our lives
September 18 is Dads Take Your Child to School Day. The day aims to increase father and father figure involvement in children's education.
September 22 is the first day of fall (or autumn).
Become an active parent/guardian/caregiver.!!! Get involved in all of the meetings, trainings and activities that CECD Head Start has to offer.

DATES TO REMEMBER

School will be closed on September 1 to celebrate Labor Day.
School will be closed for children on September 2 for Staff Development/Opening Procedures.
School will be closed for children on September 3 for Virtual Parent Orientation sessions.

September 4 and September 5.: Transition Days. If you do not know the schedule for your child, please contact your Family Assistant.
